Hi there, I'm Danelle! Hello, my name is Danelle Spikes, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) working in San Bernardino County, where I see clients via telehealth throughout the State of California. I hold a Master's degree in Psychology from Brandman University. I work with adults and specialize in depression, anxiety, and trauma. I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Brainspotting to assist clients in meeting their needs and goals. My approach I have a client-centered approach that varies to meet the needs of the person(s) seeking therapy. I use several different techniques and tools to assist clients. However, some of the common practices I use are CBT, DBT, and Brainspotting. These methods help the client and me develop a plan where we work together to address their needs. My focus My style of approach works well for the adults I see who are dealing with challenges such as major life changes, current stressful events, relationship conflicts, and past experiences affecting their lives currently. Symptoms of depression, stress, anxiety, somatic issues, difficulty communicating, and changes in behaviors and activities often show up as a result of these challenges. My goal is to help clients manage symptoms, facilitate healing from past experiences, problem-solve, and develop techniques, methods, and skills to work through current challenges or goals. I also aim to increase feelings of empowerment, positivity, and confidence within themselves. My communication style When communicating with clients, I present a calm demeanor, offering warmth and comfort along with a little humor at times. I want my clients to feel comfortable as we develop rapport, allowing them to experience the benefits of a positive outcome in their therapeutic journey.
