“I’ve worked with Dani for over a year now, and she has been one of the most positive influences in my life. She celebrates my successes, understands when I’m deflecting, and keeps me grounded without ever making me feel judged. She helps normalize my feelings and has taught my priceless coping skills. Dani is endlessly patient, kind, and incredibly intuitive, always reading the room with ease. When I can’t find the words or don’t feel ready to talk, she has a way of gently stepping in to connect the dots with her understanding, examples, or resources, always making it clear that it’s okay to take what helps and leave the rest. I simply cannot recommend Dani enough.”

Getting to know Dani Laliberte

My ideal clients are queer and neurodivergent individuals with a history of trauma. They may experience challenges with self-acceptance, navigating relationships, or managing emotional overwhelm. They seek validation, trauma-informed care, coping strategies, and guidance in embracing their unique identities. Their aspirations include healing, reclaiming their personal power, and fostering a strong sense of community. Above all, they wish to feel empowered, seen, and safe—enabling them to live authentically, cultivate self-trust, and thrive in a world that can often marginalize them.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I specialize in EMDR, somatic therapy, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help clients process trauma, regulate emotions, and heal from past wounds. Using these modalities, I guide clients in reconnecting with their bodies, integrating fragmented parts of themselves, and fostering self-compassion to create lasting emotional transformation. I understand how overwhelming it can be to navigate trauma, identity, and emotional struggles on your own. You deserve a space where you’re seen, heard, and supported.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Together, we can explore healing through trauma-informed techniques like EMDR, somatic work, and IFS. You don’t have to do this alone—I'm here to support you when you're ready.

I have been a client of Dani's for several years now and I have had a positive experience. Over the course of our sessions, I always appreciate Dani's willingness to shift and adapt what we are working on or how we approach our sessions in a way that is most beneficial for me. As a person that tends to feel nervous before meetings and appointments, I felt comfortable being honest and transparent with Dani early on, and have only felt that become more natural over time in our sessions. I appreciate the growth that I've had over my time with Dani. Dani is also punctual, consistent, and easy to work with on scheduling.
I have worked with Dani for over a year, and she is an incredibly empathetic, intuitive, flexible, easy-going, hilarious, and insightful therapist. Her guidance has supported me through goals I’ve held for years, and I truly wouldn't have achieved this level of growth in such a short time without her and her strategies. She is always meeting me where I am at in our sessions, especially if I would benefit from a bit of a push or challenge. She has created such a safe space for me to break down a lot of long-standing walls, and connect more with my core/pillar self. I always talk to my important people about how amazing she is at guiding me through the Internal Family Systems model, and she has made it feel truly accessible and applicable to my life. I am so grateful that I get to continuously learn from someone as wonderful as her, and I deeply appreciate her for the life-changing impact she has helped me to make on my mental health and life.
I've been working with Dani for the last 3 years - she is a phenomenal clinician. She's non-judgmental, accepting, nurturing, open, easygoing, and she challenges her clients in a loving way. I don't ever feel shamed or stigmatized by her, and I find she is knowledgeable about a variety of issues and conditions and has extensive specialized training. I've also never had any issues with the practice concerning insurance, billing, or scheduling - everything is upfront and easy. I feel very lucky to have her as my clinician.
Have been working with Dani for over 3 years now as a CBT client, terrific therapist. Dani has great sense of perspective, and an impressive skillset and knowledge of behavior, interpersonal relationships, IFS and more. I highly recommend them for helping you address a wide variety of problems, emotional, behavioral, circumstantial and beyond.
Dani is an amazing therapist. She's intuitive, kind and thoughtful. She balances humor with care, and is honestly the best therapist that I've probably ever had. We've done so much work together unpacking years of things that I've been holding in and avoiding, and I appreciate her dedication. I feel validated and heard in every session and I cant recommend her enough!
The session was needed. I'm coming off of a trying time over the holidays with my partner, and I wanted to understand areas that I could be better for myself and to the relationship moving forward. Dani listens so well. She asks questions and lets me sink into them before responding. Sessions usually end with me feeling excited that I have something new to work on, or happy that I am uncovering more about myself. All in all, Dani does an amazing job!
Dani is without a doubt the best therapist I’ve ever head— and not just because she tailors her practice to your needs but also because it is evident how deeply she cares. In session I feel seen, heard and respected. Dani is validating, understanding and challenging in a way that encourages me to grow. I love Dani’s range of methodologies, ones that look at where emotions sit in the body, and spend time with each part of myself. I highly recommend Dani to everyone!
