Living with chronic pain or illness can affect far more than your physical health. It may change your relationships, your confidence, your mood, and the way you imagine your future. Anxiety, depression, trauma, and difficult relationship patterns can also leave you feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of yourself. I am passionate about helping adults navigate chronic illness and pain, anxiety, depression, trauma, attachment concerns, and relationship challenges. Together, we can better understand the experiences and patterns that have shaped you, strengthen your relationship with yourself, and develop practical ways to feel more grounded and supported. My goal is to offer a space where you feel genuinely heard, respected, and accepted as you are.

What should a new client know about working with you?

You do not need to arrive with everything figured out or know exactly where to begin. I approach therapy with warmth, curiosity, compassion, and a sense of collaboration. We will move at a pace that feels manageable while focusing on what matters most to you. Our work may involve exploring attachment styles, trauma history, relationship patterns, anxiety, depression, or the emotional impact of chronic pain and illness. I will support you without judgment while also gently helping you recognize patterns, consider new perspectives, and create meaningful changes that feel realistic for your life.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our first few sessions will focus on getting to know you, understanding what brings you to therapy, and identifying what you would like to feel different in your life. We will explore relevant history, current stressors, relationships, strengths, and coping strategies while moving at a pace that feels comfortable. Ongoing sessions are collaborative and shaped by your needs. Some days may involve processing emotions or past experiences, while others may focus on recognizing patterns, building coping skills, improving communication, or finding practical ways to manage anxiety, depression, chronic pain, or illness. We will regularly check in about what is helping and adjust our work so that therapy continues to feel meaningful and supportive.
