Greetings! My name is Daniel Badillo, and I'm a licensed mental health counselor and the owner of Polaris Mental Health Counseling Services. I have been practicing mental health counseling in New York State since 2012. New York is my home state, and I am proud to serve my community. I graduated with honors from Iona University with a Master's in Mental Health Counseling. Since then, I have worked with diverse populations in various settings, including psychiatric hospitals and mental health clinics. My primary focus is working with adolescents and adults to overcome personal struggles they may face. I describe my approach as person-centered, incorporating aspects of CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and other evidence-based interventions. Nobody is the same, so my approach is tailored to each individual. I take great pride in helping others navigate the often choppy waters of life while growing both as an individual and as a practitioner.
