Getting to know Daniel Baur
For the past 25 years, I have worked with adults, young adults, children age 10 and older, couples, and families who are experiencing challenges — often profound challenges — in some aspect of their lives. I hold a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Naropa University. My view is that everyone is intrinsically whole and healthy, but due to some traumatic event, conditioning, or family dynamic, they may become stuck in limiting patterns of depression, anxiety, and/or overwhelm.
My role is to assist my clients in discovering their own ground of health, resulting in more clarity, presence, realness, effectiveness, and enjoyment in their lives. My areas of specialty include Individual and Couples Counseling, Parent Coaching, Play Therapy, Trauma Therapy, EMDR, and Gestalt Therapy.
I offer a free 30-minute consultation, in person or via Zoom, to see if we’re a good fit.

In my experience Dan is patient, respectful, and offers a unique perspective that I’ve found helpful.
I appreciate that he has not offered me medication or diagnoses.
I find he encourages developing a deeper understanding and accepting of oneself.
