“Dan is a great listener, and I have already gotten some great feedback on techniques to help. He also has a great way of summarizing my thoughts in a way that helps me think differently. We have only had a handful of sessions, but I feel like as he gets to know me, it will only get better.”

Dan is a great listener, and I have already gotten some great feedback on techniques to help. He also has a great way of summarizing my thoughts in a way that helps me think differently. We have only had a handful of sessions, but I feel like as he gets to know me, it will only get better.
I found him to be an extremely good listener who, most importantly, engaged when appropriate and used what he remembered from previous sessions to question, comment, and explain, showing that he wasn't just going through the motions but was really paying attention and trying to help. And he was indeed very helpful, understanding, and encouraging. I look forward to continuing with him as my therapist.
