UpLift Behavioral Health providers do not issue prescriptions for substances controlled by any federal or state agency or other drugs that may be harmful because of their potential for abuse. UpLift Behavioral Health reserves the right to limit the types of medications that may be prescribed by its doctors and nurse practitioners. All prescriptions furnished by UpLift Behavioral Health care providers are issued in accordance with applicable federal and state law as well as UpLift Behavioral Health policy. I have over three years of experience as a mental health therapist treating individuals and couples. I hold a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of South Florida and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland. I use a solution-focused approach combined with cognitive behavioral therapy, tailoring each session to the client's needs and preferences. I create a warm, non-judgmental, and confidential environment where clients can feel safe and supported. In therapy, I help make sense of your thoughts, feelings, and actions. I work with you to discover unmet needs, feelings of helplessness and hopelessness, and moments of feeling lost. When you understand these experiences, it helps you to control your feelings rather than letting your feelings control you.
