What should a new client know about working with you?

My goal is to make you feel comfortable and work on ways to improve your current situation. This takes more than one or two sessions, and I tend to work on mid and long term solutions once the crisis has been addressed. I do not typically see clients for years on end, you'll feel better much more quickly than that if we work together. Things get better

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I most often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in my practice which involves the interplay of thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. During the first session or two we will identify goals and then begin work on better managing thoughts and choosing behaviors which help improve your emotional well being. I spend a fair amount of time finding out your needs, strengths, and goals early on.
