Getting to know Daniel Edwards

Hi! I am Daniel Edwards. I am a Mental Health Therapist, Husband, and Father of 3. That pretty much defines me during this season of life. When I am not working, I am playing sports with my kids, joking around with friends and family, or attempting muscle-ups at CrossFit. I believe life should be joyful, humorous, and fun, so I like to make light of the heavy things when it’s appropriate and even beneficial. Life happens and can get very serious and concerning, and we will work through it before tapping into lighthearted healing and coping. I hold a Master’s in Clinical Social Work from Aurora University and have been practicing for 15 years. For the past 6 years, I have owned a private practice. Most of my clients these days don’t know, but I have a 14-year-old Certified Therapy Dog who has recently retired from therapy but once loved group home fun and in-office lounging. Well, that’s enough about me—I look forward to getting to know you.
