Hi, my name is Heath. I've been practicing in the mental health field for nearly 20 years. I counsel adult individuals dealing with a range of issues--from depression and anxiety to relationship issues and grief.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I like to meet people where they are. I start with CBT and person-focused therapies to establish a rapport. I think the relationship and trust are the most important aspects of a successful therapeutic relationship.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My sessions are different with every patient. My instinct is to lead the conversation, obviously, but I always want to hear from my patients and leave space for them to do so.
