Getting to know Daniel Kiser

Hi, I'm Daniel. Do you find yourself feeling overwhelmed and unsure of how to move forward? There are many times in life where we get stuck, and it is often others who help us work through our barriers. Whether you are facing depression, anxiety, relationship issues, or even just some changes in your life, I would love to walk with you on your journey to find balance in this crazy place called life. My approach with each client is unique, as each of your struggles is also unique, but on the whole, the work that you do with me may include working through some emotions or beliefs that are causing you to feel stuck. I want to help you separate your struggles from your life so that you can address them separately without feeling like every decision is going to make or break you. As a counselor, I have a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with an emphasis on marriage and family therapy. I also have extensive training in sex and intimacy therapy, as well as a certification in Integrated Couples Therapy. I started my counseling career primarily working with couples who were struggling with relationship issues but then moved into a residential program working with individuals who struggled with addiction and mental health issues such as depression, trauma, anxiety, etc. Having now opened my private practice, I am seeing a mixture of both individuals and couples for a variety of issues. I currently work with adults and adolescents and am seeing people who want counseling for a variety of issues. If you are looking for a place where you are safe, heard, respected, and understood, I would be honored to offer that space to you. Together we can find ways to move forward and throw off the chains of the past that are holding you back.
