Getting to know Daniel Kronenberg

I’m a social worker with over 15 years of experience supporting people through life’s challenges. Warm and engaged, I build strong therapeutic relationships that foster growth and self-understanding. Using a dynamic, psychoanalytic approach, I listen closely and help clients clarify their goals and the changes they hope to make. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, or grief, I offer a safe, accepting space where you can show up as yourself and work toward healing.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I use a blend of psychoanalysis, humor, and storytelling to help clients feel safe and open up emotionally. These approaches foster connection, deepen insight, and support a strong therapeutic relationship, allowing clients to explore their experiences with honesty, trust, and even moments of lightness.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply ready for change, you don’t have to navigate it alone. I’m here to listen, support, and walk with you at your own pace. Reaching out can feel daunting, but it’s a meaningful first step toward healing—and I’d be honored to accompany you on that journey.

Daniel is an insightful and patient mentor with a nuanced non-judgemental perspective. Over the last six months he has become an integral part of my support system.
I’ve been seeing Daniel for about a year during a complicated period of life: ending the relationship with my wife and the subsequent separation, while also dealing with my mum’s Dementia and family tensions that come with it. What I’ve found most valuable is his ability to listen to a messy stream of thoughts and synthesize what I’m trying to say into something clearer than I could articulate myself. Often he reflects things back in a way that helps reframe my own perspective. Sessions are conversational rather than structured which suits me. He’s direct when needed but not heavy-handed, and being roughly the same age brings a shared generational perspective that makes conversations feel natural. He’s punctual, attentive, and present. For me it’s been a solid space to talk things through, put raw thoughts and feelings on the table without judgment, and process complex situations in a way that leaves me clearer and lighter after each session.
Daniel is terrific. I always feel very comfortable talking to him about anything that is on my mind or going on in my life. You can feel confident booking with him!
