Getting to know Daniel Minuchin
I have been a psychotherapist with a practice in Manhattan for over 25 years. I am a licensed marriage and family therapist and hold a Master's in Counseling Psychology from Antioch University. I work with individuals facing a wide range of issues that bring people into therapy, from anxiety and depression to career questions and relationship concerns. As a family therapist, much of my work is with couples-both married and unmarried. I support people dealing with small conflicts as well as those working on how to divorce in a healthy way. I also work with families who come in with children experiencing various challenges, from behavior issues and school problems to depression. Additionally, I provide hypnotherapy, primarily focusing on anxiety issues such as general anxiety, social anxiety, phobias, and panic attacks.
During the COVID-19 crisis, I am conducting all sessions virtually, primarily through Zoom.
I offer a sliding scale to make therapy accessible.

I chose this Psychotherapist only because of good reviews.
Don't be fooled! Avoid booking him by all means!
During first session, all I did was speak, described my problem in so many details!
No advice, help, recommendation, future treatment was provided.
Session was shorter by 10 mins too (as he was late and finished earlier).
Psychotherapist suggested having a Zoom call at the same time this week. I agreed.
He forgot about it, as no Zoom details were sent. I reminded myself about it an hour before the appointment. And then again at the time, when it was supposed to have begun. 5 mins past the agreed time he finally sent zoom details, but joined the call himself with a 10 min delay. He was eating and pressed exit button. He rejoined a couple of mins later.
Since I was the one to speak last time, I expected him to do it this time. He didn't. He said I know about the problem and that what I tried didn't help.
NO HELP!!! WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!!! AVOID MY ALL MEANS!!!
