Getting to know Daniel P. Price

Hi there—my name is Dan. I would be happy to work with you! Are you at a point in your life where you feel overwhelmed and stuck? It happens to all of us at times. Are you experiencing a loss of motivation, struggling with sadness, obsessive thoughts, or anxiety? Are you facing consistent conflicts in close relationships, challenges with parenting, or difficulty communicating with your partner? Together, we can identify what is not working and find ways to bring your life back into balance. I teach clients how to build happiness by focusing on accurate cognitions and realistic expectations instead of allowing anxious thoughts to ruin their day or week. Resolving these issues reduces stress and worry, increases productivity at work, and helps make your relationships more satisfying again. I conduct EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) sessions and consistently see clients experience relief from traumatic memories. Starting therapy can be scary, but you are making a choice to help yourself. You deserve a space to heal, feel safe, and grow. I'll treat you with compassion, warmth, and empathy, using evidence-based techniques so you can overcome the patterns and habits that keep you stuck. I hold a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Indiana Wesleyan University, which has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to support you effectively on your journey.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Whether you're struggling with feeling overwhelmed, have relationship issues, patterns of anxiety and depression, or trauma history, I'm here to help and have significant success in treating these issues. I will assist and coach you to build coping skills and develop an effective plan to reduce anxiety, and depression, increase parenting skills or manage stress more effectively. I also have experience and success in helping people overcome issues of perfectionism, obsessive thinking, difficulty with time management, decision-making, and other issues.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
