Daniel Petersen is a Licensed Master Social Worker in Michigan who has been practicing since 2000. He also uses DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy)–based skills to help clients better manage and regulate their emotions. A big part of Daniel's overall therapeutic process is to increase a client's capacity for insight and awareness regarding the problems they may face in their daily lives. In turn, clients learn and apply various coping skills to help work through these challenges. In his free time, Daniel enjoys camping, kayaking, hiking, biking, listening to music, and going to concerts. He is an avid reader and a film enthusiast.
