Psychotherapist
NY
I’m a licensed clinical social worker who believes therapy should feel like a space where you can breathe, be honest, and show up exactly as you are without judgment. Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, and my goal is to make the process feel supportive, collaborative, and grounded from the very first session. I earned my Master of Social Work from Rutgers University and hold a Master’s degree in Forensic Psychology from CUNY John Jay College. My background has given me a strong foundation in understanding how life experiences, relationships, and systems impact emotional well-being. I work with adults and adolescents navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, life transitions, relationship challenges, and issues related to self-esteem and identity. My therapeutic approach is integrative and tailored to each client. I draw from evidence-based modalities including CBT, DBT, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and attachment-based work. Sessions are structured yet flexible—we may focus on building practical coping skills, exploring patterns and relationships, or processing past experiences, always at a pace that feels safe and manageable for you. I value creating a space where insight and skill-building go hand in hand. I became a therapist because I’m deeply interested in people’s stories and resilience. I’ve seen how powerful it can be when someone feels truly heard and supported, and I’m honored to walk alongside clients as they work toward growth, clarity, and healing. Outside of the therapy room, I’m a mother and value staying active, especially through Pilates. I believe in balance, self-care, and practicing many of the same skills I encourage my clients to explore in their own lives.
