What should a new client know about working with you?

If you are expecting a "doctor-y" therapist, that is not me. I am very laid back in my communication style so it feels like you are talking to a peer rather than a doctor. My office is homey and not "clinic-y" with elements of the natural world. I use nature-based practices to supplement your work in session.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

The first session is an intake where we go over your paperwork, consents, and clinic policies and procedures. From there, I spend a good amount of time building rapport with clients. Don't worry, you don't have to dive into anything too deep until we have built trust! From there, we have weekly or biweekly sessions at a time that is convenient for you. Let's talk about how we can make therapy work for you!
