Daniela Otoya, LPC

Daniela Otoya, LPC

Psychotherapist
WV
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor who works at the intersection of evidence-based therapy and soul-deep healing. My specialties include anxiety, self-worth, life transitions, self-expression, identity exploration, and helping individuals navigate existential and emotional crossroads. I use a compassionate, integrative approach—drawing from ACT, CBT, Brainspotting, somatic and guided imagery, creative expression, and transpersonal therapy—to support each client’s growth and transformation. Whether you’re a high achiever battling burnout or a sensitive soul trying to find your voice, I offer a space where you don’t have to “have it all together.” We’ll explore not just what’s wrong, but what’s yearning to be expressed, reclaimed, or healed.

What should a new client know about working with you?

You don’t need to be anyone other than who you are when you show up. I’m not here to fix you—I’m here to walk with you as you reconnect with your power, your clarity, and your truth. My style is intuitive, engaged, and collaborative. I’ll ask the real questions, challenge unhelpful patterns, and gently guide you back to what matters most.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our work together starts with getting grounded in your story—where you’ve been, what’s been heavy to carry, and what you long to shift. From there, we clarify what you want to work on, set meaningful goals, and tailor our sessions using tools that resonate with your needs. I weave in both structured techniques and creative, somatic practices to help you not just think differently, but feel differently. Sessions may include talk therapy, experiential exercises, mindfulness, guided imagery, or Brainspotting, depending on what serves you best. I’m flexible and intuitive in how we work, because healing isn’t one-size-fits-all—and neither are you.
