I have been a social worker for 10 years. Prior to this, I completed my Master’s degree in Social Work at California State University, Chico, in Northern California. I also earned my bachelor’s in psychology, and I was so intrigued by psychology that I decided to pursue another bachelor’s degree, this time in social work. Now, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker—in other words, a licensed therapist. I love my role, as I have always pursued helping roles. I believe mental health is very important, but some might not have adequate coping skills. Together, I will help with learning coping strategies to overcome challenges in life.
