Welcome to Artis Supervision and Counseling! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the Hampton Roads area, holding a Master’s in Social Work from Norfolk State University and a Bachelor’s degree from Old Dominion University. I specialize in Perinatal Anxiety and Mood Disorders. Have you experienced a traumatic birth or are you dealing with grief or loss related to pregnancy? Are you experiencing postpartum depression or feeling overwhelmed by life’s struggles? I am here to support you on this journey. My goal is to create a comfortable, non-judgmental atmosphere where you can express yourself freely. I am also a Registered Clinical Supervisor with the Virginia Board of Social Work and offer supervision to supervisees pursuing their LCSW.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I am a person-centered therapist that provides a holistic approach focusing on the whole individual. I have specialized training in Perinatal Anxiety and Mood Disorders along with Perinatal grief and loss. I am also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional that works with all ages and populations to meet your needs. I know making the choice to attend therapy can be a daunting feeling. I hope to make that decision a rewarding one!
