I work with adults of all ages and specialize in anxiety, depression, stress, substance abuse, and life transitions/challenges, using an eclectic blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing Techniques, and Mindfulness. My approach My approach to therapy is eclectic and tailored to the individual needs of the clients I work with. I most frequently use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing Techniques, as these modalities help me and the client build a comprehensive understanding of their reality and collaborate to determine a way forward. My focus I find that my style and approach to therapy fit well for individuals navigating life's challenges, whether internal or external. I work to help my clients successfully manage symptoms of depression, anxiety, stress, and addiction, building skills that help them feel better about themselves and their world in general. My communication style My communication style is open, non-judgmental, and supportive. I want my clients to feel safe and comfortable talking with me about anything. It's my privilege to be your support as you move toward your goals. My journey to mental healthcare I decided to become a therapist because I have always enjoyed helping people. I especially value the connection and non-judgmental support I can provide to those in need around me. I enjoy helping people accept and love themselves as they are, even as they work to change behaviors and situations that no longer serve them.
