Getting to know Danielle Aubin

Greetings, fellow Autistic humans. I am an AuDHD+ therapist who is committed to providing high quality Autistic-Centered psychotherapy. I work exclusively with other Autistic folx who are looking for radically neurodivergent-affirming support. If you've tried therapy before but found it frustrating to work with someone who couldn't fully understand, I get it. I am particularly well suited to work with the complexity of your experience such co-occurring chronic health conditions (EDS, POTS, ME, etc), ADHD, OCD, personality disorders (OCPD, BPD, etc), anxiety, depression, and trauma (PTSD and cPTSD).

What should a new client know about working with you?

Being Autistic in our world is deeply challenging, especially if you've had to navigate it alone. Therapy can provide a safe space for you to be understood and find ways to improve your life in a non-judgmental and accommodating space. I look forward to meeting you!

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My therapy style is Autistic-Centered (meaning I do not pathologize your Autistic brain and experience) and I pull from a variety of therapeutic modalities to meet your needs such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), DBT, mindfulness, Trauma-informed therapies (EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, parts work), existential and psychodynamic.
