What should a new client know about working with you?

I work from a client centered approach believing that each client has unique, individual needs that cannot be met with only one modality. There is no “one size fits all” approach. I will help you to develop personal goals, while empowering you to use your own life skills to manage emotions and behaviors in a healthy manner. I am passionate about supporting and guiding clients to reach their fullest potential.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our first session is about getting to know each other. From then on, you choose what we focus on each time. My role is to listen closely, reflect back on what I'm hearing and help you understand your own thoughts and feelings more clearly. I am warm, non-judgmental and genuine; creating a space where you can be honest without fear of criticism. We move as quickly or slowly as feels right, and therapy usually wraps up when you have gained the clarity or confidence you were looking for.
