Hi, I’m Danielle! A Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a master’s degree from Loyola University Chicago's School of Social Work. I specialize in treating anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, trauma, mood disorders, and life transitions. I offer both practical tools and deeper insight work to help you navigate life’s challenges. My approach is interactive, relational, and rooted in evidence-based practices. I incorporate modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), along with techniques to support nervous system regulation. I am certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a powerful and effective method for addressing trauma and facilitating emotional healing. In addition to providing therapy, I worked as a school social worker, giving me valuable experience supporting children, adolescents, and families navigating school-based services, special education systems, and complex relational dynamics.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Therapy with me is collaborative and grounded in trust — I believe meaningful change happens when you feel safe showing up as yourself. Clients often describe my style as warm, approachable, and steady — someone who will show up, stay in it with you, and help you make sense of what feels overwhelming while gently challenging you to grow.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Sessions are fifty-five minutes in length. In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know one another, discussing what brings you in, and clarifying what you hope to gain from therapy. Each session after is designed to be both flexible and intentional. Before our session, I review notes from our previous meetings so I can come in prepared and focused on your goals. I’ll often bring in ideas, strategies, or topics I believe could be helpful based on what we’ve been working toward together. That said, your voice comes first — I always prioritize what feels most important to you in the moment, whether it’s a pressing issue, something unexpected, or continuing our ongoing work. Therapy with me is a collaborative process where we adjust and shift as life does, while still keeping sight of your bigger goals.
