Dr. Danielle Lascano is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with expertise and advanced training in evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Family Systems, Solution Focused Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Trauma-informed care. She holds a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and an EdD in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University, Inland Empire, and earned her Bachelor's degree from the University of California, Riverside. Additionally, Dr. Danielle is a registered play therapist and a certified grief professional. Dr. Lascano works with individuals, teens, families, and couples experiencing mood disorders, addiction, trauma, grief and loss, relational and attachment wounds, life transitions, anxiety, and depression. She also supports parents experiencing stress related to parenting, as well as couples and individuals facing relationship difficulties. When Dr. Danielle is not seeing clients, she is a passionate educator and professor, teaching a variety of courses in the psychology department at Azusa Pacific University. Her therapeutic approach is centered in absolute positive regard, meeting clients where they are, and providing a safe space to collaborate in developing skills to achieve healthier and more fulfilling lives.
