Getting to know Danielle Leal
Hello everyone! My name is Danielle, and I am a licensed therapist in Texas with 6 years of counseling experience. I am originally from Pflugerville, Texas, and currently practice in San Antonio. I am an alumna of Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, where I earned my Bachelor's degree and a Master's in Social Work in 2014 and 2016, respectively. My biggest strength is viewing the client as a whole person. Even in couples therapy, I see the clients as two whole individuals contributing to the relationship. I consider not only a person's mental and emotional health but also their environment, family, systemic oppressors, spirituality or lack thereof, and traumatic experiences. All of these factors influence the decisions we make and how we feel. My goal is to build on the strengths clients already possess.
