What should a new client know about working with you?

Clients often describe my style as warm, thoughtful, and steady. I aim to create a space where you feel safe being honest about what’s hard — whether that’s managing anxiety, navigating neurodivergence, coping with burnout, or facing a major life transition. At the same time, therapy with me is intentional. I help clients identify patterns in thinking and behavior, strengthen emotional awareness, and develop strategies that feel realistic and sustainable. I believe growth happens when insight and action work together.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our first sessions, we clarify what’s bringing you in and what meaningful progress would look like for you. I take time to understand your strengths, stressors, developmental history, and relational context. From there, our work may include: Understanding how ADHD or Autism traits impact daily functioning and relationships Reducing anxiety and depressive patterns Strengthening executive functioning and coping skills Improving communication within families or partnerships Building self-compassion and resilience I typically recommend beginning with weekly sessions to build consistency and momentum, and we adjust as your needs evolve.
