I hold a Master’s in Forensic Mental Health Counseling from John Jay College of Criminal Justice and have been practicing in the field for over six years. During this time, I have worked with individuals facing various life challenges, from anxiety and depression to PTSD and substance use disorder. It takes a lot of courage to ask for help. I am here to guide you through the next steps of your journey with warmth and compassion. My goal is to equip you with the tools to achieve all of your goals, both big and small. What should a new client know about working with you?

I work with clients who are struggling with anxiety, depression, or trauma that is negatively affecting their everyday lives. During our initial sessions, we will work together to identify specific issues and develop a plan to take back control. Your journey starts today.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I aim to use a person-centered approach when working with clients. I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help identify unhelpful thinking patterns that may be negatively affecting your emotions and behaviors. During treatment, I will use Motivational Interviewing to tackle ambivalence about change and utilize Strength-Based therapy techniques to help you reach your goals.
