Danielle Minch, LCSW

Psychotherapist
KY
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Kentucky. I work with adults who are struggling in life due to a history of trauma, substance use disorder, depression/anxiety, grief, or simply because life can be difficult at times. I earned my Bachelor's degree from Northern Kentucky University and my Master's in Social Work from the University of Louisville. These educational experiences deepened my understanding of the human experience and prepared me to support others effectively. My approach to therapy is principle-driven, allowing me to use foundational principles rather than rigid protocols to guide treatment. This flexible, evidence-based approach enables me to tailor therapy to each individual's needs. I utilize cognitive behavioral strategies, dialectical behavioral strategies, mindfulness, solution-focused, and person-centered techniques in treatment. I have experience working with adults facing trauma, depression/anxiety, grief, substance use disorder, and navigating difficult life challenges. My communication style is laid back, and I like to let the tone of the session flow naturally. From a young age, I was fascinated by what motivates people to think, feel, and act the way they do. This curiosity, combined with a passion for helping others, led me to this field where I empower people to become the best version of themselves. Together, we will set goals because owning your goals is key to success. In our first session, we will get to know each other, establish rapport, and discuss what brought you to treatment.
