Danielle Napoli, LMHC, LPC, NCC, is a licensed Mental Health therapist. She has a master's in mental health counseling from the University of Rochester, where she completed her thesis on the intimacy struggles of injured Veterans and graduated with honors as a Chi Sigma Iota international honor society member. Danielle is currently pursuing her Ph.D and is a doctoral candidate in the Family Science and Human Development department at Montclair State University. Danielle practices from a trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, social constructivist lens, with experience counseling various populations, cultures, abilities, and age demographics. She views each client as unique; therefore, no modality may work for everyone. She draws from several evidence-based practices to fit your needs while validating your current experience and moving toward your goals. Danielle has experience working within a therapeutic equestrian center with individuals with disabilities, the Veteran Affairs Hospital, Outpatient settings, and counseling individuals in foster care, where she also works with youth and their families by conducting individual and family therapy. Danielle also has experience working with individuals as a sex therapist while working towards the sex therapy certification. Danielle will provide a supportive, non-judgmental, safe environment where you will work together to identify goals and priorities. She believes in a strong working alliance with her clients, where they can explore behavioral and relational patterns and discover practical coping skills that best suit their needs. She will work with you whether you are dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, insecurities, pregnancy, identity, sexual or intimacy troubles, or adjusting to change/life transitions.
