What should a new client know about working with you?

I will join you where you are to work toward where you want to go, while doing all I can to make sure you feel heard, seen, and validated in your experience. I primarily use EFT (emotion-focused therapy) which blends attachment science and systemic perspectives and has been proven to move 70-75% of couples from distress to recovery and improvements in 90% of clients.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

We meet on a weekly basis. I use emotion-focused as well as Acceptance and Commitment therapy, which is behavioral focused, so that changes are really integrated and sustainable. Some interventions include emotion exploration and processing, cognitive reframing, mindfulness, and value exploration.
