We all have the capacity within us to effect positive change in our lives, but sometimes we get “stuck” in vicious cycles. In these times, we may need additional guidance and support to navigate the challenges life has thrown our way. If you are here, it means you have taken the first step toward making those changes. I hold a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, and I am committed to helping you move forward with compassion and understanding.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I practice an integrative, holistic approach, utilizing a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to each client’s needs. My current practice focuses on individuals, couples, and families, drawing from psychodynamic, solution-focused, and cognitive-behavioral models. I’m trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), along with complementary therapies such as mindfulness, meditation, self-advocacy, and harm reduction. My education specializes in addiction treatment, cognitive science, and psychiatric nursing.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

As a proud mental health advocate, I meet my client’s where they are at. I approach my work with compassion, empathy, and respect for the your unique experiences. I aim to provide a safe, non-judgmental space for clients to share their stories, explore emotions, and together we develop a personal therapeutic treatment plan that addresses bio-psycho spiritual model of recovery.
