What should a new client know about working with you?

Clients often describe me as warm, direct, and thoughtful. I strive to create a therapeutic space where people feel both supported and challenged. While therapy provides a place to process difficult experiences and emotions, I also believe in helping clients understand the patterns that contribute to their struggles and identify practical ways to move forward. My approach is attachment-informed and trauma-aware, with a focus on emotional regulation, relationship dynamics, and long-term growth. I tend to be an active therapist, balancing exploration and insight with concrete tools and strategies. Together, we work to increase self-awareness, strengthen coping skills, and create meaningful, sustainable change.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My approach begins with developing a clear understanding of what brings a client to therapy, their goals for treatment, and the patterns that may be contributing to their current challenges. Early sessions focus on gathering relevant history, identifying strengths, and establishing a collaborative plan that feels both realistic and meaningful. As therapy progresses, we work to increase awareness of emotional, behavioral, and relational patterns while developing practical tools to manage distress and navigate challenges more effectively. Depending on a client's needs, sessions may focus on emotional regulation, anxiety management, relationship dynamics, communication patterns, attachment experiences, or life transitions. I view therapy as a collaborative process. While I provide guidance, feedback, and clinical expertise, meaningful change occurs when insight is paired with intentional action. My goal is to help clients not only understand themselves more deeply, but also develop the confidence and skills necessary to create lasting change outside of the therapy room.
