Getting to know Danuelle Williams

I specialize in working with LGBTQIA+ teens and am comfortable supporting all types of folx, including but not limited to non-neurotypical kiddos, GAT, trans clients, and parents of all kinds. I also have extensive experience with grief work, having spent many years as a hospice social worker. I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in Washington, Oregon, and Alaska. I earned my Master's in Social Work from Our Lady of the Lake University in 2015 and hold a Bachelor's degree from the University of Phoenix. I began seeing therapy clients in 2019 at the Resource Center of Dallas, and in 2022, I opened my private practice. I offer virtual sessions to clients throughout Washington, Oregon, and Alaska. I am kink-aware and comfortable and confident with ENM and other relationship styles that don't always fit the norm. In my practice, YOU decide what is best for you-not me. On a personal note, I have a house full of teens and young adults, love to cook and bake, and enjoy playing with our cats and dogs. When I'm not busy, I enjoy reading and spending time outdoors.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My goal is for you to be the best you you can possibly be. We will set therapy goals based on our first meeting. We can be short term solution focused or can have a longer relationship, giving you or your kiddo a safe place where you are known and feel safe so you can grow and express your feelings. Let me know what you want, I will always listen and will let you know if I am unable to meet your goals and am happy to help you find the right provider if we are not a great fit

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Your first visit will be a time for me to get to know you and you to know me, I will ask you about current issues, past mental health and medical experiences, family dynamics, support systems you have in place and YOUR GOALS for therapy. I will help you dial in those goals and be very honest with you about how and if I can help and the work you will have to do. At the end of that session we will both discuss if I am a good fit for you and if I am we will schedule follow up sessions to work toward your goals. I am not a worksheet therapist, IF I give you homework it is written out for you personally.

In-network insurances

Danuelle Williams, LCSW has 50+ in-network plans.
Out-of-pocket fees and assistance
Initial session: $125 for 55 minutes
Ongoing session: $125 for 55 minutes
  • Sliding scale: Offers lower out-of-pocket fees on an individual basis, typically based on your ability to pay

More information on payments and coverage

I use a platform called Headway for insurance billing -you will submit your insurance and a credit card for your co-pay to them. After each session I will go in and verify our session and they will bill you for your co-pay and your insurance for their share. We do not have to do money at each appointment, this allows us to use your whole appointment for the work you want to do not administrative tasks . If you are not using insurance then Simple Practice, where you set up your profile and do all the paperwork the state requires of both of us, will store your credit card in a secure manner (I can not see the numbers ) and when I verify your session Simple Practice will auto bill you that night - again making it so your session is about the work you want to do and not administrative tasks.
