I have extensive experience working in community mental health settings including a residential substance abuse treatment center. I practice harm reduction and use a trauma-informed approach with a diverse set of clients. My experience working at a Native and Indigenous counseling center taught me how to adapt counseling to a variety of cultural beliefs. How Can I Help You? I take a non-judgmental and compassionate approach to the therapeutic relationship. I enjoy getting to know people as individuals and catering therapy to their unique needs and goals. Using Acceptance and Commitment therapy, I will help you reconnect to your authentic self in order to live an empowered life moving in the direction of your goals. Mindfulness strategies and self-compassion are tools I like to utilize to help deepen your mind, body, and spirit connection. I am additionally trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT). My goal in sessions is to create a safe and supportive container for you to explore difficult places within and external generational patterns that may dictate your life and relationships.
