I utilize a combination of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, Attachment-Focused EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Attachment-Based Therapy, Mindfulness, Somatic Therapies, and other modalities based on client needs. I specialize in trauma and EMDR therapy. EMDR is a highly effective psychotherapeutic approach used to alleviate the distressing symptoms associated with traumatic memories. It is not limited to treating Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) alone. While extensively researched and validated for trauma-related conditions, EMDR has also proven effective for addressing a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety disorders, depression, phobias, addiction, and feelings of shame and guilt. By helping individuals reprocess distressing memories and unblock emotional hurdles, EMDR offers a versatile and evidence-based therapeutic approach for improving overall mental well-being and facilitating healing from various challenges. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from Simmons University, which has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to support clients compassionately and effectively on their healing journeys.
