Getting to know Daria Gadzaeva

If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, anxious, emotionally drained, or simply not like yourself lately, you don’t have to navigate it alone. I specialize in working with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem, and emotional difficulties that can affect relationships, work, and everyday life. My approach is warm, compassionate, and personalized. I believe therapy should feel like a safe space where you can be honest about what you’re experiencing without fear of judgment. Together, we’ll explore what may be contributing to your struggles, develop healthier ways of coping, and work toward helping you feel more balanced, confident, and connected to yourself. I integrate evidence-based therapeutic approaches with mindfulness and a holistic perspective, focusing not only on reducing symptoms but also on understanding the person behind them. Whether you are going through a difficult period, struggling with persistent anxiety or depression, or simply feel ready for a change, I will meet you where you are. Taking the first step toward therapy can feel difficult, but you don’t have to have everything figured out before reaching out. We can start exactly where you are and work together toward feeling better.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially if you’re not sure what to expect. My goal is to make the process feel comfortable, supportive, and collaborative from the very beginning. You don’t need to know exactly what to say or have everything figured out before our first session—we can start wherever you are. I take the time to understand your individual experiences, concerns, and goals rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. Together, we’ll identify patterns that may be contributing to anxiety, depression, stress, or emotional difficulties and work at a pace that feels right for you. Clients can expect a warm, nonjudgmental environment where they can be open and authentic. I believe meaningful therapy is built on trust and collaboration, and I want you to feel heard, understood, and supported throughout the process. My approach combines evidence-based psychotherapy with mindfulness and a holistic perspective. I focus not only on helping you feel better in the present, but also on developing the insight, coping skills, and self-awareness needed to create lasting change.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our first few sessions are an opportunity for me to get to know you, understand what you’re experiencing, and learn what you would like to change or work toward. We’ll talk about your current concerns, your personal history, relationships, and the experiences that may be affecting how you feel today. From there, we’ll work together to identify meaningful goals for therapy and develop an approach that fits your individual needs. Sessions are collaborative, and I encourage you to share what feels helpful, what doesn’t, and what you would like to focus on. Depending on your needs, we may explore thought and behavior patterns, emotional experiences, relationships, stress, past experiences, or life transitions. I also incorporate mindfulness and practical coping strategies when appropriate, helping you develop tools that you can use outside of our sessions. Therapy is not about changing who you are. It is about creating a deeper understanding of yourself, building on your strengths, and developing healthier ways of responding to life’s challenges. My goal is for you to leave therapy with greater clarity, emotional resilience, and confidence in yourself.
