Starting therapy can feel like a big step. I congratulate you on starting your journey, and I’m here to make sure that it is meaningful to you. I specialize in working with individuals navigating life transitions, anxiety, depression, substance use, and trauma. I take a client-centered, collaborative approach to therapy, tailoring each session to your unique needs and goals. I welcome you to reach out whenever you feel ready to begin. I’m here to provide a safe and supportive environment where you can be yourself. I have a strong background in mental health and substance abuse treatment, and I am dedicated to providing compassionate and effective support to individuals and families navigating challenges. My approach I use a variety of approaches, including CBT, DBT, person-centered, expressive arts, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and trauma-focused. I use cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) to help you identify and reshape unhelpful thought patterns. This approach is hands-on and gives you tools to feel more in control of your emotions and behaviors. Based on your unique needs, I may adapt my approach to include practices like mindfulness. Your goals and progress are my primary focus. Together, we will identify challenges and work on strategies to help you move forward with confidence. I use expressive arts to help you see what is holding you back and how to move forward by journaling, art, and music. No one therapeutic modality fits all. I believe laughter, a foundation of trust and true connection, is key to a strong therapeutic relationship. An additional approach I utilize is Client-Centered Therapy. This approach is grounded in the belief that clients have the innate capacity for self-understanding and growth. I prioritize the unique needs and experiences of each individual I encounter and create a supportive and non-judgmental environment.
