What should a new client know about working with you?

I am a student and a teacher of the mind, body and spirit. The values that guides my work as therapist is ensuring a safe space for you to freely exist and while existing in my space I hope to aide you in your journey to heal, elevate or simply to be whole inside and out. My style disposition as a therapist is transparency, mindfulness and elevation. I’ve come to learn the most important element in building a strong therapeutic relationship is to leave the textbook counseling approaches in the books and be present with my clients. That is how I will create a safe space to not only affirm but to get to know my clients in a way that will grant me the opportunity to collaboratively create treatment plans unique to them. Being culturally diverse put me in a unique position to be a listener and a voice to those looking to find their own in any aspects of life. In my personal time I enjoy a good hike, nurturing my spiritual journey and dancing. Healing to me means aligning tour conscious thoughts with your unconscious and subconscious so that the mind, body and spirit can live in harmony. I hope in your journey with me, whether short or long term you learn to not only celebrate every milestones but to exist as if you are a celebration too.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I typically use CBT, person centered or motivational interviewing therapeutic approaches but really, I combine whatever I need to adapt to what it is you may need to succeed during your time with me.
