Getting to know Darrien Held

Hey there! I am Darrien, a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s in Counseling from Abilene Christian University, dedicated to helping people grow in the areas they struggle with most. Do you feel like life is suddenly spiraling out of control? If so, you’re in the right place. Using skills from DBT, CBT, and solution-focused therapy, I make it my goal to help people navigate the stressors that come with life, whether big or small. My specialties include, but are not limited to: substance use, anxiety, depression, grief, self-esteem, and trauma.

What should a new client know about working with you?

It is my goal to create a trusting, supportive relationship where we can work together as a team creating a lifestyle change that will benefit you. By the time our sessions are complete I expect to see growth in some shape or form that can be reflected on by both of us.

In-network insurances

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
