Hi there, I'm Daryl! My name is Daryl Essey, and I am a Clinical Mental Health Counselor with a Master’s in Counseling from the University of Phoenix. My primary approach to therapy is person-centered, inviting the client to navigate our shared experience together. My approach I am a past educator and a life-long musician and writer, which imbues my approach with creativity and a love of learning. I have a trauma focus with expertise in addiction. My communication style I have an eclectic personality that is grounded culturally and spiritually. I strive to bring a confidence of exploration to my therapeutic environment and atmosphere. My journey to mental healthcare I have worked directly with others in all of my endeavors. As a dedicated musician, I fulfilled my obligations with work in the restaurant industry. After becoming a licensed educator, I followed a path to becoming a therapist, motivated by the power of human connection.
