What is your typical process for working with clients?

For every client at Loving Counseling, we begin with an intake to gather necessary information about our client's history. This can include everything from family dynamics (current and past), family history of mental illness, current and historic stressors, major life events, current symptoms, family history of suicidality, and more. After the intake, the first session with clients we begin treatment planning and go from there to determine client readiness to tackle issues. In our collaborative journey, your well-being is the focal point. Together, we'll navigate the challenges you're facing, utilizing a client-centered approach and incorporating therapeutic techniques, including EMDR, to facilitate healing and growth.
