Getting to know David Ferguson

My therapy career began working with HIV positive individuals. Since that time; I have gained valuable experience working with folks in crisis in emergency rooms as well as in a psychiatric hospital. For the past ten years; I have worked exclusively worked with people who have experienced trauma and have developed PTSD. My practice also includes working with couples. I believe the therapeutic relationship is one where the client know more about their own experience than the therapist; and; the therapist's job is to be curious; ask questions so that the client can better understand themselves.
