I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP). For over two decades, I've provided counseling to teen guys, emerging adult males, and transgender youth. Along the way, I've come to believe in the possibility of change, the importance of connection, and the value of humor. My specialty areas include trauma, depression, intrusive thoughts, substance use, behavioral addictions, and LGBTQ+ topics. I frequently meet with adopted teens and have extensive experience with complex cases‚ such as co-occurring mental health and substance use in teens, sexual trauma in adolescent guys, and teens who've had prior unsuccessful counseling. Change is a process, not an event. My goal is to help you or your teen successfully navigate that process by making choices about what to change, identifying what to leave behind, and developing the insight to move forward.
