What should a new client know about working with you?

Growing up with a brother diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder taught David early on how important it is for people to feel seen, heard, and understood—especially when the world doesn’t always make space for them. That experience inspired him to pursue this work and continues to shape how he shows up: with warmth, patience, humor, and genuine curiosity. Sessions with David are collaborative, safe, and judgment-free, where clients can bring all parts of themselves and feel truly supported. He uses straightforward, down-to-earth language and real-world analogies to help clients reflect, challenge patterns, and grow at their own pace. His hope is that every client leaves therapy feeling more at home in themselves, more empowered to make choices aligned with their values, and more connected to the life they want to create.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I bring authenticity, humor, and active listening to every session, creating a safe space where my clients feel truly heard and understood. I take a collaborative, goal-oriented approach, drawing on cognitive behavioral therapy, behaviorism, and motivational interviewing to help clients gain clarity, build practical skills, and create lasting change. Grounded in empathy and openness, I balance directness with warmth to empower clients to navigate life’s challenges with confidence.
