Getting to know David Lori

My name is David Lori. I have provided in-person and, over the past six years (telehealth) counseling to children, adolescents, and adults for over 25 years. I welcome new and returning clients into telehealth services. I believe it is important for individuals to feel supported, emotionally safe, and know that they are being heard and not judged. I have adopted various clinical approaches to my work with clients, including but not limited to Client-Centered, Solution-Focused, Existential, and Cognitive-Behavioral treatment. I encourage clients to drive treatment in terms of what is meaningful for them to discuss during sessions. I consider myself a grounded, genuine and welcoming therapist. I work to promote insights, effective coping skills, and growth for each individual served. In addition, I encourage clients to not only work towards managing symptoms but also what their struggles are attempting to inform them about the situations themselves.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider's self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan's benefits.
