What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach to therapy is to work with each client to build a genuine connection to help strengthen the therapeutic process because the relationship between the therapist and the client is an important piece of an effective therapy experience. At the core of my practice is a person-centered philosophy. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and empowered to explore their experiences. From there I work collaboratively with each client to identify stressors and then develop a plan to work towards developing new healthy ways to cope with these issues to help my clients regain control and find a better piece of mind. I utilized a diverse range of therapeutic approaches to help tailor my treatment approach to best fit each client's individual needs. My goal is to help every client identify their inner strengths and develop practical tools to manage distress and enhance well-being in their everyday lives.
