Getting to know David S Mackey

For over 25 years, I have utilized individual and group counseling to care for adults whose minds and spirits are broken from struggles with addictions, mental health disorders, trauma and loss, compulsive behaviors, spiritual and relational conflicts. Providing guidance and support to others as they work toward wholeness has become my passion. I hold a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Cairn University, which has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to serve my clients effectively. My counseling practice does not have a ?shingle? identifying me as a Christian Counselor. I have always enjoyed working with those who do not follow Christian values and practices. In my office, however, it is pretty clear that I have a strong Christian faith. It is easy in that setting for the client to be assured that I am a Licensed Professional who has the integrity to meet the client where he or she is; my purpose is to focus on the need that has brought them to counseling. Reality has been that most of my clients have been aware that their mental health struggles are not only behavioral, cognitive, emotional, neurological, psychodynamic, and physiological but also spiritual. Basically, mental health problems stem from all of who we are. It is all of who we are that I hope to engage in my counseling practice.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
