I have over 30 years as an LCSW in the mental health field with extensive knowledge and experience providing Individual and Family therapy with adults as well as adolescents. When you begin therapy you should expect a warm, therapeutic and confidential environment that is compassionate, empathetic, safe and is centered towards your specific treatment goals and life directions. What should a new client know about working with you?

When you begin therapy, Above all you should expect a warm, therapeutic and confidential environment that is compassionate, empathetic, and safe. An initial session will begin by gathering a full Biopsychosocial assessment that will assess for biological, psychological and sociocultural influences that may contribute to a problem that a client has begun therapy for. My role as your Therapist is to offer insights into your experiences with realistic thoughts and ideas while providing structure, reflective and empathetic listening and truly hear what your treatment goals and direction are in formulating a treatment plan that is individualized to each client.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
