Dawn DeWitt, LPC

Psychotherapist
TX
I have over 20 years of experience helping children, teens, and adults overcome life's challenges. I earned my master's degree in counseling and became a Licensed Professional Counselor because I have always been passionate about helping people find hope, healing, and lasting change. I specialize in working with anxiety, trauma, anger, relationship challenges, depression, ADHD, and grief. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or struggling with the effects of past experiences, my goal is to help you better understand yourself, develop healthier coping skills, and build the life and relationships you want. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each individual. I believe there isn't a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy, so I meet you where you are and create a treatment plan that fits your unique needs and goals. Sessions are a balance of support, practical tools, and meaningful conversations that help you gain insight while making progress between appointments. One of the greatest privileges of my work is watching clients discover strengths they didn't know they had and seeing them regain confidence and hope. I believe everyone deserves a safe, nonjudgmental space where they feel heard, valued, and empowered to grow. Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my family, being outdoors, and finding opportunities to recharge so I can bring my best self to the people I serve. I look forward to walking alongside you as you begin your journey toward healing and lasting change.
